This is on the path in my back yard. for those who cant read the thermometer it says 55 and 60 degrees C. (Thats celcius not farenheight.)
60 C = 140 F

I know thats lying on the cement and the air temp is considerably lower than that still bloody warm. the Thermometer at my back door says 40 C (104F) (thats in the shade). wish I could trade a little bit of Boston cold for our heat and kinda average out a little.

The temperature here is currently 14 degrees below zero with a wind chill factor of -40 or thereabouts.

So take that thermometer, dadpad, and... well, never mind. Just enjoy the heat while you have it.

Its too fng hot to actually do anything. I've been trying to put up new guttering on my shed but its too hot to handle the galvanised guttering.
I have retreated to my unenvironmentally airconditioned loungeroom. I'll have another crack at 8.00 pm tonight.

minus 14 Shocked bugger me I didnt know it could get that cold.

Which means you're in Michigan, gustav!

We're around 60 F, not too bad.

Maybe I'm in Louisiana, Jane, trapped in a region with a microclimate gone wild.

Ever thought of that?

Now we are having a REAL Florida winter. It's 5 in the morning, and the temperature is 51 degrees F, which is 10.555555555555555 degrees celcius (boy, you guys are exact with your temps.)

I don't know whether this is fact or rumor, but local wisdom has it that when you move from a colder to a warmer climate, your blood thins (thins? Shocked ), and you are more susceptable to cold.

All I knw was that when I was in NY, 51 was positively balmy. Now I am freezing my butt off!

Oh, now I see it, Timber. Your minus was on one line, and the 40 on another.

Since sunrise we've gone from 8 degrees F below to 8 degrees F above.

Suet and black oil sunflower seeds are very popular.
