From an 81st-in-the-world ranking to stomping the hell out of the #1 seed in the Aussie Open.
This was the most one-sided women's championship match I've seen in years...and it was very satisfying to see Serena so decisively shut the mouths of the doubters.
She always was great. Glad to see her win another one.
She kicked ass and took names, baby!
Go girl go!
didnt see it. Was the boyfriend "watch ing"?
Huh? What Boyfriend? Who cares?
Serena camp is under watch

SERENA Williams's camp was under fire yesterday after her semi-final win against Nicole Vaidisova, accused of using a glass watch face to dazzle the Czech teen's eyes.
Nothing in it really, but made a splash in the media here. media beat up.

Serena was in the zone. Sharapova was off her game. The combination led to a very quick final. I was glad to see Serena back. I rarely watch women's tennis anymore (can't stand all the screaming), but I'm glad I saw this match.
I missed it - thought it was on at night, not afternoon.
But - I can't stand the screaming. We were down at the Oz Open last weekend, and deliberately gave a Serena match a miss because of the bloody racket she makes. Got sick of Sharapova squealing and walked out on her match, too.
Expect (hope) a good match tonight for the mens final.
You only had to look at her face to know she would win.

That's the best part.
No reason to actually watch women's tennis, just turn the volume up. Good times.
