oh photoshop elements 3.0 how i love thee.

thats right photoshop elements... i can't afford the real deal but that is not to say it is all that limiting to what you can do with it... just take a look at the composit work i've done..

im sure that there's alot of people that can relate... only the last one has a title any help on what to title the rest would be usefull... tell me what you think otherwise too.. TY

These are great. They look like paintings-especially the last one which is my favorite.

I'm kind of embarrassed to ask, but are these photos? I just assumed because you said you used photoshop - but as I have no experience with it, I haven't got a clue as to whether you can use it to make composites of other mediums beside photography.

If they are photos, how did you get the quality that makes them look like paintings - especially the first and last?

yes they are photos... the last ones made of 3 photos together... the others are 2... and its actualy a very in depth process of tinkering around with various filters and effects to get the desired effects... thank you very much for the compliment... the illusion of a painting was the kind of direction i was looking for... it helps the peices look like they fit together wich is the biggest challenge with these kinds of things... the painted look probably comes from a "poster edges" filter but theres plenty of other tinkering that went into it
