thanks to the powerful democratic leadership in Congress gas prices have dropped in God's country as well.

I knew the dems would fix things but even I had no idea they would begin to turn things around so quickly.

You might ask Boxer and Pelosi's constituents before you post.

Gus, aren't you lactose intolerant? I'm sure you can get a glass of milk at the local diner for under $1.

Americans only start to conserve gas when it reaches $3 a gallon. At that price point Americans start to consider getting small cars and making fewer travel trips. I want gas to go back to $3, but 1/3 of the profit from that price be put into the development of alternative fuels. I also want all the Hummers in this country to be used as containers to grow potatoes - I can dream
can't I?

Sorry but there aren't a whole lotta Arabs in Lake Orion, which has the lowest gas prices.

In Dearborn (where they are) the price is only $.10 more, some places $.20 more, still under $2.00

Maybe they don't live there but they own all the gas stations.

Arabs own gas stations in Detroit too but those prices are at $2.09 still.

$2.90 here. Still too high IMO. What has happened to capitalism?

Capitalism in the USA has found a friend in political correctness.
