Weather history, how to look up

For both sentimental and semiscientific reasons, I'd like to look up the amount of snowfall in Evanston, Illinois in the different years from 1951 through 1954. I've googled a bit, to little avail. As it is the first suburb north of Chicago, I suppose northern Chicago by the lake numbers would do.

I'm a little surprised this is not accessibe to me, but I may be looking it up incorrectly.

On that page is an E-mail addy of a guy that has access to what you seek and, according to the article, he willingly looks that sort of stuff up for people. Smile

I haven't looked at your link yet, fishin, but thanks for the reply. If the link helps, that's good, and if it doesn't, thanks anyway.

OK, I just looked at the site, interesting at the least. Am weary now, will check in the morning. Thanks.
