With a sand-covered nose, military working dog Penny pauses to listen to her partners next command. Penny is deployed here as a frontline detection dog and is stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. Prior to her service in the Air Force, Penny served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an independent detector dog.
