@Rockhead,

I must say I'm inclined to agree with you!

@trying2learn,
tsar, The happiest moments in animal history made me, well, happy. Thanks mucho. Tres interesting re how animals see the world. There is something to be said for color vision.

RH, I've always had a soft spot for kids.

vonny, That is a gorgeous serpent. I'm guessing that it's one of those designer snakes--not found in the wild but sold as pets. A real beauty. The caterpillar is not so much a beauty as a doozy. Well, maybe both.

t2l, That is a stunner of a dog. Thanks for the pic. (I love shepherds.)

I may have gotten my scrolling ability back.

@vonny,
Me too. Baby lambs are right on the heels of being in first place, though.

@trying2learn,
That doggie looks somewhat like my departed dog, Katy.
Not to get morbid, but I finally washed her collar and tags and hung them up where I can see them, in my main little hallway that is near smothered in photos and memorabilia. (The hallway needs that accumulation, otherwise a stupid short ceilinged pit of despond.) It's sort of a comfort walk, from the kitchen to the computer (et al) room in back.

@ossobuco,
Now for more animal pics from the G'dian Week in Wildlife series. There are nine of them (more if you look at the link), and I get cranky posting nine at once, besides making mistakes. So, two posts coming up in a bit.

It looks like an optical illusion, in fact it's thousands of wader birds at the RSPB's Snettisham reserve in Norfolk. During the 'Snettisham spectacular', the huge flock creates amazing ripples and patterns as the birds huddle together.

@tsarstepan,
Gee, that is just plain darling (my mother's word for such), Tsar.

Oh, on the culprit re the white space, I'd had some window open, but pushed quite to the side for a day, and forgotten about it. Too many windows open too long - and I sometimes have many - make baby Mac burp, and cursor shimmy.
