Maybe less cute, but I still see beauty in it...

@FBM,
It isn't beauty in the recognised sense, perhaps, but it has a fascination for me. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I find beauty in almost all living creatures!

@vonny,
Same here. Beauty is a mental experience and the object plays a minor role in it sometimes. Those spiders are tiny. Less than 5mm, I'd guess. It's a whole different world at that scale. I find it fascinating and beautiful.

@FBM,
Thanks for the wonderful photos, FBM. Glad you've got a camera that can take pictures of such tiny creatures.

@Roberta,
Incredible how the colours and pattern can be so perfect on something so small - nature is wonderful, isn't it! Marvellous picture.

@Roberta,
Thanks, Roberta. It was either the camera (and lenses) or a retirement fund. No contest. Wink

@FOUND SOUL,
timur, I did some digging around. Is that a mata mata turtle? Helluva pic. Thanks.

vonny, Great PC. According to some research, dark-maned lions are more attractive to the females than are light-maned lions.

Found Soul, Tres cute. Thanks mucho.
