Love that inadvertent juxtaposition--looks like the tiger is eyeing the squirrel through the grass. Check behind you quick, squirrel.

@MontereyJack,
Ahh, Cavvies are one of my favourite breeds. I know two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels pretty well - one a bi-colour and one a tri. Beautiful little dogs.

@MontereyJack,
tsar, I have a terrible time opening your links. Don't know why. This time I got thrown off this site and the link. Didn't get to see the giraffe. Crying or Very sad

Reg, Wow and a half. That's one gawgeous PC. Thanks, kid.

vonny, Looks like a chipmunk to me. Doesn't matter. It is one cutie. Thanks.

MJ, That dog has perfect aim with its tush. Great shot. Thanks.

@tsarstepan,
tsar, I appreciate the aye-aye info. And thanks a million for the giraffe pick. Not little, but definitely a baby.

Salticids are my favorite spider. This one was on my back veranda this a.m. It had one leg stuck in some kind of sticky something. After I took the pic, I helped it get free and let it go. It's only about half the size of a grain of rice, though, so it was tricky to free its leg without hurting it.

@vonny,
Yeah, I even felt a little bad about letting it stay trapped long enough to photograph it, but hey, you don't get something for nothing often, eh? Wink

A different one from this afternoon:

@vonny,
That's a fantastic hummingbird shot! I've never had any luck with them.

@FBM,
I never have much luck with taking any photos! I'm a snapper, not a photographer - have to rely on other people's talent to see beautiful photos of beautiful animals. Your shot of the spider is incredible - so detailed!

@vonny,
I'm not really a photographer either, by photographers' standards. I just spend a stupid amount of money on good equipment and try to get lucky. Smile

@FBM,
Anyone who can give an insect some personality in a photograph is, to me, a good photographer! The three you posted are really good!
