Thanks for filling us in, TTH. I saw that. However, it didn't match the monkey I saw on the show with the same coloring. I'm now thinking that there's more than one kind of monkey with a blue face.

Osso, The males are maned and magnificent. This kind of baboon grazes on grass. They pull the grass up with their hands, and they move along on their rear ends. Huge herds. I love dem primates.

Jes, Sand castle worms. Great. And why wouldn't it work? Many undersea worms are wonderful to look at. Like these:

Hey, gus. Thanks for posting. What's that brown skunk doing in there.

I'm sure that Allison remembers you fondly.

Thanks, Roberta. I live for this thread.

And Allison was killed in a fiery car accident in 1976.

Her last words were, "Gus....thank you!"

This post has brought a tear to my eye and warmed the cockles of my heart (except for the fiery crash part). Speaking of cockles, here'e a photo of a cockle:

I agree with the awww, osso. Love how the little joey is grazing from inside the pouch. Love the look of the kinkajou.

Coelacanth, long thought extinct. They're not!

Newly "discovered" insect in Borneo. No name was given. Sorry.

Thanks ros and Roberta. That was my first attempt at a bumblebee shot. I had started out to try and photograph the butterflies that are always around that vine, but the bumblebee turned out to be a more accommodating subject.

It looks like a professional photo. It's very hard to get sharp focus on small targets like that. Especially when the subject is prone to random movement Smile

Considering that it was not an SLR, just a Sony H1 with an electronic viewfinder and using auto-focus, I was pleased with the result. Two out of the eight to ten shots taken were in focus. The rest were very blurry.
