This is a strange thread for this forum. Very little discussion. Mostly one person (me) posting pictures.
I know that people are looking. The view count is more than a hundred views a day.
I still love looking for photos. I find it relaxing. And I learn stuff.
But every now and then I get lonesome here. The last time someone other than me posted something was Saturday.
I know you're out there. Please tell me. Got an opinion. Like a picture? Have an animal you'd like to see here?
TALK TO ME.
Okay, my hissy fit is over. I'll post more pix later--whether someone responds or not.

Jes, Great to see you here again. I've encountered a few sites that don't allow linking. Some you don't know about until you try the link. Others make it easier to tell.
I'll check out the photos, even if I can't post them. Thanks for letting me know.

Jes querida, Don't worry about the bad link. I've got the name of the place. I'm sure I can find it that way. And it's not as if I can used stuff from there. I'll eventually check out the photos.

I look at your pictures quite a bit. I have not posted any from other sites since it seems to be harder to find ones that allow someone to download them for free.

Osso, Thanks for the wonderful photo. When I was in Kansas, I didn't see any prairie dogs. Of course, I was in Kansas City, not where they're likely to hang out.
Another prairie animal (this photo was taken in Yellowstone):

I've been watching reruns of Life of Mammals. The primate episode was on earlier.
Not sure what kind of monkey this is (sorry)
Gelada baboon--male. One of the larger monkeys. They are grazers and live in large herds:
