@Barry The Mod,
tsar, Dem spiders are very small. And they display like this only when they want to mate. A semi-freak-out seems about right. BTW, I like spiders. A sheep wearing a sweater? What's the world coming to?

Hey, osso, If the lambs are cold, why not get them sweaters? Very sweet and dear, dem lambs. Thanks, kid. The jackdaw pic is spectacular. Thanks again.

vonny, I wouldn't mess with that eagle. It looks angry. Fact is, I wouldn't mess with an eagle even if it didn't look angry. Thanks for the pic.

firefly, Great shots. And the robin's egg is a beautiful color. Your post of baby birds reminds me to check out the two falcon nesting sites I keep an eye on--in NYC and Pa. Enjoy the pin.

MJ, The sound is almost as much fun as the sight. Thanksl for the laugh--and for the thud alert.

HH, Very cute. Can that piglet walk in those things? Or is it just posing for the camera? Thanks for the cutie.

Barry, No wonder that guy had so much trouble finding Nemo. Look who he's asking. The turtle shot is a beauty with those yellow fish hovering. Thanks for both. Excellent B; excellent O. Not only do I like the pics, but seeing them makes me nostalgic for the olden days. Sigh.

@tsarstepan,
There was a similar story in the LA area a year or two ago. A man and a dunk.. or was it a goose. I'll post it if I find it.

Baby birds and imprinting with "the first thing" they see/identify with is far more common then it seems.

@tsarstepan,
Dunk, bah with the typos.
And yes, re imprinting.
I've done that myself.

@Barry The Mod,
Barry, Two foxy pics. Both gawgeous. That badger looks fine, but I would never mess with a badger. They are tough. I plotzed all over the living room because of that baby gorilla. Didn't thud, though. I may be building up some kinda immunity. The dolphin pic is spectacular! The bat face is a stunner. You are in the zone, kid. Major thanks for them all.

tsar, Love that little yellow fuzz ball. And the duckling must bear similar feelings for the man. Thanks. Strange assortment of wildlife. Deer and lemurs. I'm glad to see they're making friends.

osso, The man/duckling reminded me of the man/goose. Glad you found it. Thanks, kid.

vonny. The sea otter is wonderful. Not just the one in the pic, but all of 'em. Thanks.

A Seychelles tortoise named Jonathan, the oldest living animal on the planet--178 years old.

@Roberta,
PS about Jonathan the tortoise. He still mates with the goils. What the hell is this guy eating?
