@rosborne979,
babies are always cute. Even when hissing.

I don't think possums or armadillos are nearly as cute when they grow up.

@edgarblythe,
rosborne, I once petted an armadillo. (At member night at the Bronx Zoo) Smooth and waxy feeling. Cute little armored vehicles. Thanks for the pics.

mismi, Few things are as cute once they're grown up. C'est la vie. I like this little guy. I like attitude. He's got some. Thanks, kid.

edgar, Stunned and impressed. Gives a whole new meaning to bird brain, doesn't it. Thanks muchisimo. Wonderful.

@Roberta,
How do you pet an armadillo? With a brick, maybe?

@roger,
roger, My hand was sufficient. I petted the armadillo the same night I petted a boa constrictor. Another interesting sensation. Very, very smooth and solid. But cold.

@Barry The Mod,
This is a reply to Ed's bird baiting fish video.Sometimes the videos at the end are as good or better than the original.

Here's one.

That is a magnificent horse, Barry.

@Barry The Mod,
Two doozies, Barry. I'm guessing that you like big horses. What a gawgeous equine. The feline is also a winner. Thanks for them both.

ABC Radio NQ just tweeted this with the caption what North Queenslanders do when it's hot.

PS - it's a cassowary - probably about 5 feet tall.

@Rockhead,
Barry, I'm a fan of smaller graceful horses, like Arabians. But dem big ones are also grand. Speaking of working dogs, a new TV show is premiering next week--Alpha Dogs. It's about police, military, and guard dogs. I'm looking forward to watching. I love cats of all sizes too. Thanks for the pics. Love dem felines in the snow.

One of my favorite cat in the snow pics:

HH, The bird has the right idea. Cassowaries are big boids. Sort of dinosaury in appearance.

RH, Gawgeous hawse. Trying to remember if I've seen a horse with blue eyes--or one blue eye. Glad you have a new friend.
