@JTT,
Heya JTT!!!!!!!!!! JJ, aka Joy's Jewel, is doing just great! There is a new pic of him on my Talk To Me I'm Nervous thread. He's getting so big and finally he's getting pretty vocal. He grunts a lot. Still doesn't do the mule/whinny but he's a hoot!

@Barry The Mod,
Boomer, Great pic and great link. I was able to spot a few of the camouflaged animals. Amazing and wonderful stuff. Thanks.

Barry, Let's see what happens when we get to the bottom of this page. Sigh. I'm loving those horses. Look how the colt has its legs crossed as it leans against its mother. Priceless. Thanks.

@Barry The Mod,
Hey, London, if that picture was any closer-up, we'd be inside Mayo's head. I like his eye.

On the Japanese calendar, the is the year of the water snake. Here's a yamakagashi, aka Japanese water snake. It's venomous but kinda shy and nonaggressive:

@tsarstepan,
tsar, Every hair, every scale, every eyelash. Amazing clarity. Thanks, kid.

FM, A vampire seal. I don't think so. A fur seal, methinks. BTW, I checked out vampire seals on Google. A wild ghoul chase. Whatever it is, it's a cutie.

Here's some muts for you New York.
Words and pictures from a US soldier....

These weren't official military dogs, but a few we adopted during our deployment to Afghanistan and they were amazing. The Afghans treat dogs like rodents and they are pretty much wild throughout. They don't like the Afghans and the ones we took on patrol with us were actually very helpful when going through villages and compounds.

Wishbone was the first dog we adopted and she was one of the best dogs I've ever met, over there or back in the states. She remained over there with the unit who took over when we left.

This little guy was named ManBearPig and we took him in our first month in country. Over the next 13 months he grew to be quite an awesome dog and one of my platoon's squad leaders actually was able to adopt him and take him back when we left. I don't believe he called him ManBearPig though haha.

This is the dog the ODA team we lived with adopted as their own, named Paulie. This is her on patrol with us and she would go with them and us and was great at clearing buildings and compounds with us.
