@Tai Chi,
Barry, As a cat peep, I appreciate the close up. Thanks mucho.

firefly, I thudded all over the Upper East Side. What a thing to do to a goil. I thank you mightily for those wonderful, heart-warming, thud-worthy pics. BTW, those cheetah cubs might be my second cousins twice removed, Alfred and Joy. Not sure though.

Tai, Long time, no see. Good to have you here. Thanks for the glorious bird. Hey, grouse. Don't fly into windows. You'd think that by now, you'd have this figured out. Rolling Eyes

Everybody's gotta be someplace:

@Barry The Mod,
Builder, That's a doozy puddy tat. Not big, but not afraid.

HH, I'm guessing that's a jaguar with a melanin issue. What a gawgeous animal. Thanks.

Hey, London. Love dem mutts, but you knew that. Also love dem Noo Yawkers. Species is irrelevant to me. Glad the third dog and handler will remain together. I confess I'm worrying about the future of the Afghanistan dog. I hope somebody can take him home to the U.S.

Another great mutt face:

@Roberta,
Apparently it's a Black Leopard Boida, thus the markings you can kind of see.

Roberta, just checking in with you. I know you made it through the last hurricane without problems, but this one has me concerned for your well-being.

So, how you doing and what plans have you made should you need help?

@Butrflynet,
HH, I would have bet an entire nickel that the feline was a jaguar. No wonder I'm broke.

tsar, That photo is magnifico. Thanks, mucho. You keeping dry?

I appreciate your concern, Butrflynet. I've been posting here on how things are going.

Basically I'm fine. I have water, food, a flashlight, batteries, candles. If I need help, I'll call 911. I have electricity. If I hadn't been watching the news, I'd barely know that anything is going on. It's not over yet, though.

@Builder,
Hey builder - cute but confusing photo - aren't they sugar gliders? And since when have they been carnivorous - or have they just been stealing fascinators from melbourne cup heads?

@hingehead,
It's a play on words, I guess. The feather thing is a geegaw that a foster carer gave to her gliders, and they promptly "dismembered" it.

Info here.
