@Roberta,
You brought us a whole basket full of great stuff today. Very Happy I particularly love dem foxes. And that's one bold jackal considering the lion's arm/leg weighs more then the entire jackal's body.

@Roberta,
This immediately brought to mind this Blish short story http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surface_Tension_(short_story)

Where rotifiers were pack animals, but I'd never thought to look up what they actually looked like. Cool!

@ossobuco,
tsar, Glad you like the pics. I like your pic of the peacock spider. Thanks mucho.

HH, Rotifers have a lot of different forms and looks. I picked one that I thought was photogenic. You can check out rotifers on google. Tres interesting. Thanks for the tip on the short story.

osso, The more animal pictures I see, the more firmly I'm convinced that it ain't easy being a mother, regardless of species. It ain't easy being a kid either. Parents are so picky. Thanks for the wonderful pic.

@Roberta,
I like the style of that ladybug beetle. Very classy. Must have been designed by Coco Chanel. Smile
