@tsarstepan,
Be still my heart!! (re the Loris)

Meantime, via the Chronicle -

I'm alright, nobody worry 'bout me: Not to make a mountain out of a mole hill, but a property in Godewaersvelde, France, might have a subterranean varmint problem.

@ossobuco,
HH, Not only is the kudu a wonderful looking animal, but it's a fine crossword puzzle word. I like his mohawk. The fox pic is glorious in it's clarity and detail. I love dem canids.

tsar, Yup, those dumbo octopi are amazing and odd looking critters. Thanks for the pic. Positively plotzing over the slow loris. Cute and slow. Like it a lot.

osso, Look at the size of those mole front feet. Major tunneling tools. Great photo. Thanks.

@hingehead,
How ya doin', tsar? I like having the rhinos near the narwhals. Horn against horn. I'm a rhino baby fan. Thanks.

HH, That's a major squirrel, earwise and facewise. I know I've seen that bug before. Lovely. Hey, bug. You rock. The primates are familiar. Can't come up with the species. Look at the faces on those babies. Thud.

How do you like your tabby? An undated photo from Science magazine shows tabby cats with the mackerel pattern (top row) and blotched pattern (bottom row). Scientists say they've found the gene that sets the common tabby pattern - stripes or blotches. Cats with narrow "mackerel" stripes have a working copy of the gene. But if a mutation turns the gene off, the cat ends up with the blotchy "classic'' pattern. Photo: Helmi Flick, Associated Press / SF

@cicerone imposter,
Awwwwww!(we were there in pouring rain and the cathedral still looked great, stayed overnight at a comfy sort of run down hotel nearby it.)

This slide-show is for osso, & all the other sloth lovers out there.

Gosh they're so irresistible, what can you do but swoon helplessly? Smile Wink Laughing

Vets say sloths eat only leaves, do not drink water and in Costa Rica tend to live on the Caribbean coast to the east because of the humidity and abundant presence of the guarumo, or trumpet tree, the animal's favorite. Photo: AFP

Hey guys, a couple weeks back someone posted a closeup headshot picture of a big happy looking dog gnawing on a rawhide bone. I scrolled back and can't find it. Can someone repost that one please? I wanted to show it to my wife.
