No, HH, they may be laughing on the outside, but . . . These tiny animals (maybe 3 inches) exist on one small island, and their territory is being overrun by civilization.

Edgar, Such a beautiful bat. I'd guess that it's a fruit bat, but there's a very good chance that I'm wrong.

FBM, Is that a dragonfly or a damselfly? (Yes, I know. Sometimes I can be a real pain in the patoot.) The spider is wonderful. Walks on the beach! Not buying it, kid. What was a St. Andrew's Cross doing in a Buddhist temple? An ecuminical arachnid? Great-looking. Thanks muchisimo.
