@jespah,
jes, I've seen animals that resemble sengis, but I've never seen a sengi, let alone a gray-faced one. Thanks for the intro.

Maybe not thud-worthy but definitely ooh, I like that worthy.

Wikipedia has some info on gray-faced sengis. They're a kind of elephant shrew. Bigger than most.

I love new (to me) animals.

@Roberta,
We were watching this special on newly-discovered animals (from the last 5 years or so). I forget what else was on, but the sengi impressed. I like the funky multicolored coat.

@JTT,
be a stubborn dickhead if you wish, but please realize...

just because you have the ability to do whatever you wish to with your freedom, does not mean that your lack of manners and common sense is not hurtful and disrespectful to others.

Roberta is my friend.

go be a jerk somewhere else.

please...

@JTT,
this is her sanctuary.

she has indicated that she wishes you to stop commenting about politics.

are you so selfish or thick that her request means nothing to you?

please cease and desist, or be shown as the callous buffoon that you are acting...

out of respect for her, I am done here, but you may find me up your ass if you continue.

not here, but everywhere else...

good day.

@edgarblythe,
Edgar? The great American children's book needs to be written about that particular toad.

The taste of just eaten bugs lingered on his very special tongue.

@edgarblythe,
He felt like hopping, his feet almost having their own minds, but the driveway looked boring.

He remembered the cool rocks in the flower bed and began hopping to them.

@edgarblythe,
JTT, I have no wish to keep anything hidden. I hate war and am sympathetic to its victims. I simply don't think that this is the thread to be discussing these things. I ask that you take it elsewhere.

Where you choose to post is entirely up to you. This thread is special to me and I'd like to see it continue on topic. Now I gotta comment on the Texas toad.

edgar, Teddy has more than his fair share of personality. Wow. An amphibian with attitude. Please continue your narrative. I gotta go do some work.
