Staff Sgt. Brian Williams watches over his military working dog Carly. Williams and his JB MDL visitors brought Carly to his apartment at the medical center so the two could spend time together....
Staff Sgt. Brian Williams hugs military working dog Carly shortly after reuniting with him in the courtyard at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Carly stayed by Williams’ side for most of the visit, even jumping his front paws up onto Williams’ lap on several occasions.
Barry, Glad to see that Hank is helping. I believe that the Boston terrier is reg's favorite breed. Also glad to see that Carly enjoyed his visit. Shepherds are among my favorite breeds.
I was impressed by how long JTT went without polluting this thread, the way he pollutes all the others he participates in. I was saying to myself, "Hey, maybe this guy isn't as irretrievably bonkers as I thought".
Yeah, but if you'd try a little bit to focus - you'd see that the point of the picture was the beautiful (uncontroversial) dog. Or, a reasonable person would, anyway.

@JTT - Roberta, our thread host,is comfortable with my military dog posts. If you are not, then out of politeness, take it to PM's where I will either ignore you or tell you to piss off....
Back from the Bronx and feeling revitalized. Home turf will do it for you.
RH, snood, and Barry, Thanks for stepping forward and saying something to try to maintin the focus of this thread. For me this thread is a haven and a source of joy. I appreciate your trying to keep it on track.
Tozge, Thanks for the links. Do you not post pictures because you don't know how?
JTT, I'd be grateful if you would keep politics off this thread. If you feel strongly that posting pictures of service dogs is propaganda, maybe you could start another thread to discuss it.
Barry, Two gawgeous felines, maybe just a tad contentious. Thanks, kid.
Ceili, Such a bunny. Definitely thud-worthy. Thanks.
The first and only time I've seen black squirrels was in Ft Meade, MD. When I saw the first one, I thought I had witnessed some amazing anomaly, but then every squirrel I saw around there from then on was black. Way cool.
It seems they only live in two little patches of forest in Tanzania, and apparently mate for life. The little guy in the video seemed to be rooting around in leaf litter. Dunno if he was looking for ants (I figure they do eat insects) or maybe just a nice gift for the wife.
