Roberta, I'm not sure whether I've posted this one before.

Reg, Mantids are an amazing group of diverse and interesting insects. That said, get over yourself, bugboy. BTW, love the photo you posted.

C.I., I don't remember whether you posted that before either. It doesn't matter. I'm sure there's more than one duplicate among the thousands of photos. Terrific picture. Beautiful birds. Thanks.

Do you bend at all? I would think that have an exoskeleton could make bending a real challenge.

I am not sure if frogs qualify as beautiful animals, and, more specifically, frogs of the type that have gained fame while hosting their own tv shows, but recently I walked by the studios of Sesame Street and noticed Kermit staring out the window at Roberta as she walked by. I thought to myself, "What is he doing? Is this really what happens in New York City on a daily basis?

I continued to walk, staring at the sidewalk, afraid of making contact with the denizens of this twisted city.

I'm glad to know that the restraining order is working. Staring from a distance is allowed. But that famous amphibian had better keep his distance. And I wish he'd stop sending me dead flies.

Hey, Gus. There are 8 million stories in the Naked City. This is just one of them.

osso, Lavender finches are rarely seen. They come in a variety of blues/purples. I loved the one in the photo.

Reg, I'm dubious about the bending, bugboy. And I'm mystified about the screwdriver comment. I'm not asking for elucidation. Some things are best left a mystery.

Thanks for the iguana. Great face, prehistoric look. Nice combo.

There's a screwdriver next to Kermit in the photo Gus posted.

I don't get the philips head comment, though.

Deb, I saw the screwdriver too. It's the Philip's head comment that has me dumbfounded.

Bugs is weird.

So...a toy frog wanking, sans penis, is normal...but you detected the screwdriver as odd?

All the photos are great but that tarantula is just gorgeous. Do they bite?
Just wondering in case I ever run across one and decide to pet it.
