@djjd62,
dj, That is one gawgeous bunny. Having a hard time figuring out what I'm looking at with the otter. Is that a mother and baby?

Basilisk one of the most interesting lizards of the family of iguanas. They can run on the surface of the water, holding by frequent strikes webbed hind feet.

Siberian tigers are waiting in Tiger Park in Harbin, China. Visitors to the park can buy a bird for 50 yuan, pieces of meat, or even a live calf to feed the tigers,.

@Rockhead,
tsar, The mother tiger doesn't look all that happy to be playing with the kid. The kid is growing up.

HH, Hey, sauce is sauce. Glad to see a happy llama. Those basilisk lizards are also called Jesus Christ lizards. I'm guessing it's the walking on water thing. I don't mean to be critical, but how do you know what that boid is thinking about. Could be wondering about the World Series. Could be contemplating a vasectomy. Could be annoyed that the missus is missing. It warms the cockles of my heart to see that you're so willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm glad the tigers are eating.

RH, Maybe moles don't like you either. Like the horses. Thanks.

@hingehead,
Now that's beautiful! I have seen quail many times on the trail here between houses - I'm on the sort of west side of a duplex and the trail is right by the east side of the other part of the duplex. They always cheer me up immediately.

Well, so do roadrunners. . .

@ossobuco,
A couple of years ago, I was in a Texas rest stop. All of a sudden two Road Runners came by. I had never seen Road Runners in the flesh (feather?)before, so I was very excited. The birds were quite still, so I went to get my camera. I got it all set up, and "poof", they scurried away. Sad

@Phoenix32890,
They hang around on my streetscape sometimes. No apparent fear of parked cars, etc. I've never seen more than one of them at once, whereas you have. Quail I usually see in bunches. Or, what? quilts of quail. Quorums of quail..
