Ok, here's an article dear to my heart, and I haven't even read it yet..

it talks about sea turtles (I love turtles) off the coast of Pembrokeshire (to me, corgiville):

@ossobuco,
Dutchy, Thanks for posting those cuties for us.

dj, Love the marking on that bunny. Brown nose spot, brown ears, and mebbe a brown tush. The otter appears to be opining about something.

Arella Mae, Why would I mind? Enjoy. I agree that friesans are stunning. I tried to find a picture that was absent signs of humans--saddle, halter, and most of all posing. Feh. Let the equine run.

Irish, Love dat pic. Definitely kung fueyish.

Barry, Thanks again for posting pics of our canine soldiers. I wonder if the dogs have ranks. Probably all privates. But they are wonderful. I occasionally watch K 9 Cops, a show on Animal Planet about dogs working with the police. Similar training, but domestic.

osso, Just finished reading the link. Three meters long! I had no idea they got so big. Marine fauna is fascinating. As the planet warms, animals start showing up in places they're not supposed to be. I love turtles, too. Thanks, kid.

@hingehead,
Irish, Dat koala is warming the cockles of my heart. At first I thought it was indigestion. Flamingos are beauties.

dj, I'm guessing (and kinda hoping) that the bunny's ears really don't stand out like that. They appear to be horizontal because the bunny is lying down. Is that otter praying. I wonder what religion he follows.

osso, Little Thomu is a keeper. What a cutie. Thanks kid.

Arella Mae, My cockles heated up again. Such an adorable primate. Vunderbar.

hinge, You're on fire! That's a very large bear to be in a tree. Look at the face on that stingray. Is that one of the ones that with child? The horse appears to be genuinely wild. I like that. The slender loris is another cockle warmer. I love dat face. I don't know that the lion cubs are in trouble. Fathers can be very tolerant. Even lion fathers.

And then sometimes not so much:

It depends:

@djjd62,
Hi DJ, am on tiny phone and can't post pictures - could you please post the pic on this link? It's some of us humans (also part of the animal kingdom) looking over the edge of a 2,000 ft sheer drop down to some Norwegian fjord. Mountain goats aren't quite so stupid! http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2011/08/14/magazine/LOOKrock.html?ref=magazine
