@Roberta,
Hi Boida - something weird about the way that site handles pics

This might work

http://www.thomaspeschak.com/storage/White%20Shark%20KayakThomas%20P.%20Peschak.jpg

If not direct link should

http://www.thomaspeschak.com/storage/White%20Shark%20KayakThomas%20P.%20Peschak.jpg

And you think Goats head soup is bad!

@hingehead,
hinge, I see the shark photo I posted just fine. Can't see the one you posted, though. I tried the link. A dead end.

I don't know whether goat head soup is good or bad, although a goat with its hair on suggests something less than terrific. I just don't wanna see pictures like that on this thread.

Sorry for being a pain in the ass. It's a gift. Can't help myself.

@hingehead,
Goats heads are stickers here in New Mexico. My yard is full of them.
Hiss.

@Roberta,
Me with the mac, I can see both of your photos if I click on the little blue question mark at the same time I click on control.

This of course is of no use to you pc users.

@Arella Mae,
Sorry you can't see the pics, Arella Mae. Don't know what the problem is, and I certainly don't know how to fix it.

@Roberta,
Super bird photos, Roberta.

Arella, I haven't used a pc for years so I don't remember, but do recall there was a way to see the image, usually. On my iMac, it's easy, but different steps.

@Arella Mae,
Hi Arella

If you're on a PC try right clicking on the X and 'Open image in new tab' - the problem is a site setting (where the image is hosted) that won't allow any item to be referenced from within a page on another site. It seems to work fine for the original poster because once they've found the image their browser shows the copy in the local cache rather than request a download from the original site.

Geek alert ends.

@djjd62,
I hope that bunny's not sitting on a bootleg DVD! The prison time punishment for copyright piracy would be difficult for small fluffy cute rabbits. Confused

@hingehead,
Amazing boid shot, hinge. Are those cranes? As for the twins, be still my heart. And as for the moms and babies, be stiller my heart. Love dem okapis, and gibbons are a personal favorite of mine. The last time I was at the Bronx Zoo, I visited gibbon island. My friend had to drag me away.

tsar, Bootleg, shmootleg. Nobody's putting one of our Bs in jail.

olga, Nothing is safe when a boid from the parrot family is around. How can I say this with such authority? I've had six parakeets during the course of my life. They're very small, but have a helluva bite. They're also smart and bossy. My first parakeet dominated our family and terrorized our dog. How I loved dat boid.

@Roberta,
I think they are Snowy Egrets Boida.

A family of mandrills at Colchester Zoo are believed to be the first in the world to invent their own sign language for cultural reasons. When staff at the zoo spotted veteran mandrill Milly covering her face with her hand they thought she was suffering from bad eyesight, but after studying her behaviour they realised she was making the gesture to say "leave me alone". The other mandrills in the group now copy this gesture.

Personally I think the animal behaviouralists have got that wrong - I know a facepalm when I see one.
