@djjd62,
That pup, dj, is Rin Tin Tin.

The bunny is exceptionally cute. The otter, as MJ suggests, is testifying.

@hingehead,
Hinge, Never saw Baraka, but now I'm inspired to hunt it down.

Love the additional pics. Penguins being penguins, deer, cat (is that an ocelot?), lizard. Beauties all. Thanks mucho.

@ossobuco,
Now that you mention it Osso, it does remind me of Snoopy's joy dance...

When the praying mantis (Rhombodera basalis) feels threatened, she transforms herself into a dancing alien. This species, native to Malaysia, grows to be as much as 10 centimeters. When the mantis goes into her famous praying pose, she's not paying tribute to a higher authority, but getting ready to spring on its prey.

@firefly,
hinge, The pelican pic is magnifico.

A jaguatirica is an ocelot from Brazil.

I am a pony girl--well one of 'em. Stunning, breathtaking picture. Muchas gracias.

Blech, feh, pooh on the goat head. Also yuck.

tsar, A buffalo cooling off. Who can blame him? Thanks, kid.

firefly, Great shot. Dem mantises (mantii?) are something else.

Note to hinghead: Does a mantis have a booty? Probably.

I love this picture. It's the devil in me. No one was hurt:
