I was going to ask you about the photo but saw you already answered the question.

Tth, where did you get that avatar? I saw it on a photo series on some news station just this past week, don't remember which one. You might not have copyright permission.
(then again you might, I don't know).

TTH got the avatar from the Beautiful Animals thread. If there's a copyright violation (doubtful), I'm the guilty one. Region turned the photo into an avatar.

Sorry to interrupt the discussion. Just wanted to clear that up.

I don't have an animal picture today btw. Sorry Sad

A friend sent this to me today. Unusual to say the least; an albino peacock.

SpecTACular tiger, Caribou. Thanks.

C.I., Are you back from your travels? Waiting to see some fauna photos. Yes, I've seen photos of albino peacocks. In fact, I have a painting of two albino peacocks on my living room wall. Thanks for posting it.

More birds from Hawaii (sorry I don't know what they are called):

Hi C.I., I went to your link. The last two pages wouldn't open. Don't know why. I'll try again. I liked the first two. It sounds like a glorious trip.

Reg, Los tigres son muy bonitos. Why am writing in Spanish? I don't know. Sometimes espanol pops out. Love the photo.

Osso, Glad you like the pics. One comment, though. Caribou's tiger is in a full-out run. Not denying it looks purposeful. Just don't know how contemplative a tiger is when it's chasing lunch. It's a beauty, though, n'est pas? (Now French. I think my brain synapses are not entirely focused.) When I saw it, I had to wonder where the photographer was. Must have used a telephoto lens. Otherwise there'd be no one left to develop the picture.

All wrasses start out as females. When the mating male dies, one of the females turns into a male.
