WARNING
todays B may be too much for people who have a weakness for baby bunnies, labrador retrievers, and inter species adoptions

Via the Telegraph, which writes:

A Labrador has become surrogate mother to two baby rabbits. Six-year-old Koa has taken the bunnies under her paw after they were found abandoned.

@djjd62,
dj, Thanks for the warning. Whew. At least a double-thudder. The otter is also wonderful

BTW, I don't think that's a lab. I think it's a golden retriever. Look at the fur. I could be wrong. Well, maybe. It's possible I'm wrong.

A fight erupts among a group of cheetahs in the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, in Tanzania. One of the cats leaps four feet in the air during the confrontation between two males. The encounter was a harsh lesson for the younger cheetah, who had been challenged by the older male. British photographer Elliott Neep captured the moments the family of three were approached by the cheetah. He says: "The sequence looked great on the camera and I had a massive grin on my face. When I reviewed it later on the big screen, the grin was even wider as I could now see the fur literally flying when the cheetah was in mid-air."

@djjd62,
dj, Don't believe everything you read?! Can't tell you how many hours I spend checking what knowledgeable authors have written--and how many mistakes I find.

Irish, Great picture. I didn't know cheetahs could fly.

@ossobuco,
Izzie, I love each and every one of those otter pics. And the owl is amazing. Mercy bow coo.

dj, I love dat bunny. You may have been out-ottered today, but I've always said that you can't have too many otters.

osso, I stumbled onto the quetzal in my Internet wanderings looking for beautiful animals. A truly stunning bird in all its varieties. Seeing it lifts my spirits.

I am seriously falling in love with otters! This thread is pretty amazing. I have learned more about animals from it than anything else. It's nice to wake up to such beauty.

msolga, that mother swan has such love in her eyes. Made me tear up. I'm such a wuss when it comes to animals.
