Merci, Francis. Good to see wild horses that are actually wild.

dj, I'm guessing that the bunny ain't pink. It's just the lighting. Right? Love the otters. Putting my hoper into high gear for the sick guy. Get well, bunny.

@Phoenix32890,
Thanks, Phoenix. Mystery to me is how they got the dogs not to dive into the bowls in front of them.

Morning New York....

Doing his fatherly duty, a male Oreophryne frog in Papua, New Guinea, cradles his clutch and two newly hatched froglets. Each night the male Oreophryne embraces the egg mass, possibly to keep it moist or to protect it from small predators like insects.

@ossobuco,
Will have to wait to watch Phoenix's video, sadly - on way to airport, aka slow connection, but still could look up latest news including darling doggies >

Barry, Absolutely positively fantastic froggy pic. WOW! G'night pic is vunderbar. Gracias, amigo.

High Seas, This thread isn't going to the dogs. It's already there. No apology necessary re the military dogs. Loved the pic. German shepherds are my favorite. Thanks, kid.

@Francis,
Beautiful pic of the squirrel, Francis. I looked for a flying snake pic. Found some, but the snake didn't appear to be in flight. Here's a flying fish:

@Roberta,
Quote:
Chrysopelea is a snake that can fly and is a genus that belongs to the family of the Colubridae snakes. Flying snakes are not so venomous and toxic so they are not so dangerous for humans. They are located in South East Asia. It is said that they fly but actually they glide in the air by using its ridge scales along its belly and then they push themselves against rough bark surface of tree trunks, allowing them to move vertically up a tree and then it throws itself making a J shape making serpentines

I posted this picture or one just like it a few weeks back. This horse has been in my mind. I've made my decision. I want this horse. Yes, I live in an apartment in Manhattan. I'll make a sacrifice. The horse can have the bedroom, and I'll sleep in the living room. Hey, if a man can have a full-grown tiger in Harlem, why can't I have a horse on the Upper East Side?

Maybe I'm still a bit light-headed from the bunny thud. Not sure.
