@msolga,
olga, That is one alert hare. I guess you have to be if you're a hare. I wish I could see the chinchilla tree rat better. I'm gonna go poking around. And are you sure that's not Noo Yawk? Probably not. We don't have much of a bonobo population here. Great pic.

Aha! Found a better view of the chinchilla tree rat. Tres rare animal.

Barry, great elephant pix (would appreciate something other than pale red letters on white background, tho--hard to read the captions on my monitor, and they do add to the experience)

That's the most woebegone-looking B I think I've ever seen, furry furrowed brow drooping dejected ears, and all. Probably my imagination.

Gotta disagree with Jack. The bunny looks pensive. Floppy ears are floppy ears.

@MontereyJack,
Using pink type to raise peoples awareness about breast cancer.Think Pink! Have a friend who had a very nasty scare a few months back and thankfully,for the time being,she's OK now.So,I'm willing to compromise on this thread only.How about red,the same colour as my socks (which turn pink after a few washes anyway)? ....

@djjd62,
B & O too too too cute today.

"Look out below! A gosling leaps out of its nest in a cemetery urn to join its family in Buffalo, N.Y. Forest Lawn Cemetery officials say the goslings and their mother, who had been guarded by a deer for weeks after the gander disappeared, waddled off to find a pond. The deer was still hanging around after the geese left."

"Woman becomes 'cat lady' overnight: A little over month ago, Beverly Stoddard-Vela of Carrollton Township, Mich., had no cats. Now she has 10, including this sad-looking little guy. Stoddard-Vela adopted Isa, a stray who had five kittens on March 31. When a man dropped four apparently motherless kittens off at a local cat rescue, the shelter asked Stoddard-Vela to see if Isa would nurse them - a 50-50 proposition. Isa did so immediately, accepting all of the new kittens as her own."

Thanks, Barry. Sorry to hear about your friend, glad she seems to be doing okay. Didn't know that was why you were doing it-- having problems with my eyes so I appreciate your accomodation for me too.

dj, Love the bunny. The otters make me a little sad. They look like forlorn prisoners, but cute.

osso, Great shots all. Baby birds make some amazing leaps to leave the nest. Scary stuff from a human perspective.

Hiya Barry, That's a helluva snake picture. The perspective gave me the impression that it was a much bigger snake. And an adorable g'night pic.

Omigod, Trying not to thud:

@Roberta,
Usually they are wild, Boida, but not in the case of your picture:

@Francis,
Thanks for the enlightenment, Francis. And damn. I was making an effort to try to find an animal not in captivity. These horses look like they're out in the desert. Another bubble boist.
