dj, IMO, clouded leopards are positively one of the most gorgeous animals on the planet. Sigh. Another winning B&O. Am I becoming inured to all that cuteness? Dunno. Haven't felt thuddy in a while.
Arella Mae, Glad that the possum is such a big hit. Frankly I have my doubts about her being ok with her eyes like that. I suspect that she wouldn't survive in the wild with impaired vision. I wonder if it's fixable. I also wonder whether the zoo people would be willing to eliminate one of the reasons she's such a star.
Yes, I'm a pain in the ass. I worry about stuff like that. It's in my nature.
I watch a show about a chimp sanctuary. One of the young chimps had a cataract. No big deal? Didn't hurt him. Try swinging through the branches of trees with impaired vision. The chimp had eye surgery. Now he can judge distance.
been watching an Australian shows lately, Bush Tucker Man, about a Major in the Australian Army who shows folks how to survive in the bush, have seen some pretty cool animals, and in looking for pics of them have found more
Orange-footed Scrubfowl
Malleefowl
dj, LOVE DEM BOIDS. No thuds. But you made my day. What a collection of magnificent birds from down under. Thanks big time.
@Roberta,
it's a pretty interesting show, he went to an aboriginal community and the kids were playing with a baby kangaroo, too cute
@djjd62,
That is a wonderful, beautiful example of the female specifies, showing nice ahahahah examples of why they are called mammals. The kangaroo is nice too
