I can just hear that little angel bird. He is singing, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah!:

Even a baby hippo is too cute for words.

@djjd62,
That otter on the right would get a "thumbs up" from Tyra Banks on America's Next Top Model. She'd say something like, "I like the risk you took with curving your body." But of course, as always, she would also add "but you need to learn how to tuck your behind in a little."

That bunny looks sad but I love the coloring of him/her.

@Arella Mae,
Arella Mae, The pygmy hippo is a different species from the larger hippo. The Bronx Zoo had a pygmy hippo named Morton. I loved that little guy. Threw popcorn in his mouth every time I visited the zoo. I arrived one day and saw that Morton was missing! I found a keeper and asked about Morton. He was moved to a new enclosure with more room and more privacy. They had acquired a female and were hoping for baby Mortons and Mortinas. I schlepped to the new enclosure to say hello. Morty seemed happy.

@Roberta,
Awww that little goat is a doll. I learn something new everyday on this thread. I had no clue about pgymy hippos. You ever see the goat on youtube jumping on the little trampoline? It's too cute. I'm glad Morty is happy.I couldn't find the one I saw before but this one is really cute.

@djjd62,
Me too, dj.

Here's another pygmy. Pygmy marmosets are the smallest of "real monkeys." Tres small. Mucho small. Also not big.

That roly-poly rabbit reminded me of this chubster I saw the other day...Smile

Who ate all the nuts? This tubby critter looks as if it's been squirreling away too many nuts for the winter. It has piled on the pounds ever since James Phelps began putting nuts out in his garden in Michigan, USA.

Intrepid, Wonderful bunny. I like those black-tipped ears.

As for the squirrel, Oy. Maybe Mr. Phelps should give up on the nut idea before the squirrel can't make it up a tree.

Two brown bear cubs enjoy a tug of war with a salmon at Lake Clark National Park, Port Alsworth, Alaska. British photographer, Doug Merrick, spent two weeks at Silver Salmon Creek, observing these playful cubs mirroring the hunting techniques of their giant mother during the salmon spawning season.

A young tiger and two rabbits are pictured together at the Seoul Children's Grand Park Zoo in South Korea. In the Chinese calendar, 2010 is the year of the tiger and 2011 is the year of the rabbit.

@Irishk,
What marvelous pictures. I love the tiger on the snowball. He looks like he is just daring someone to snatch it from him.

Tigers and rabbits? Not something I ever thought I'd see together and dem bears is toooo cute!

@Arella Mae,
Roberta... that pygmy goat wants to believe its a giant goat. He looks like he's struggling to move a mountain.

IrishK: that poor squirrel needs a membership to Weight Watchers.

And you know who doesn't think the picture of two cubs playing tug-o-war isn't cute? That salmon! That's who! Rolling Eyes

We're having salmon for dinner. We'll be a little less aggressive with it... Razz
