@Roberta,
A man I once worked with had a small blue lobster in an aquarium. Often at night he would be awakened to hear it scurrying across the floor. After a few months of it, he gave away the lobster.

@edgarblythe,
Red, white, or blue, no lobster has survived a day in my house.

I bet Moby Lobster would have at least made a fight of it.

Both litters were fathered by Luke, the zoo's sole male lion, until the birth of the cubs, who are the first to be born at the zoo in more than 20 years.

Getty Images 4 hours ago A squirrel runs through the snow in Saint James' Park, central London, on December 18, 2010. Britain was hit on December 18 by more blizzards that shut down one major airport and forced airlines to scrap flights on what is traditionally the busiest weekend for travellers before Christmas. London Gatwick, Europe's eighth-busiest passenger airport, shut its runway until at least 1500 GMT, warning that 'further significant snowfall' was expected.

Edgar, You mean the lobster got out of the aquarium and got back in again? Are you sure it wasn't a big blue cockroach?

George, Lobster is my favorite food. Slurp.

Irish, Lions in the snow? I guess they adapt. A squirrel in the snow? Probably remembers where he hid every nut. Now reindeer and Santa in the snow I can accept.

Tai, That is a positively spectacular photo. SPECtacular.

Izzie, Smiling big time. The boid/cat video touched me. Had me semihumming, and swaying back and forth as I watched. Love dem boids. LOVE EM. Love dem cats too. Big time thanks.

No surprise that I smiled the whole way through the cheetah photos. That mama has her paws full. That's a big litter. Absolutely beautiful.

Euro, The coloring of the horse is palomino. An appaloosa tends to be spotted. A palomino can be a variety of breeds, but I'm guessing that they are most often quarter horses. Here's an appaloosa:

olga, That's a first. A cross-eyed marsupial. Thanks. Very endearing for sure.

Phoenix. Why didn't I think of that. A penguin shopper. The video was funny and charming. I'm glad the boid got a tip. Thanks for sharing.

Firefly, omigod. Too wonderful. Glorious pictures. Thanks mucho.
