Anyone read the article about "ugly animals"? I forget where, probably NYTimes.

@ossobuco,
Corgies are direct descendants (spiritually if not genetically) from foxes! Very Happy

@tsarstepan,
So true.
I wonder if there is anything to that.
I know, I know, but somewhere back in time.

Breakfast with Lemurs! Now this is too cute. I didn't know lemurs could be so cordial!

Loved that video, Arella Mae. But I don't know if I'd call that cordiality so much as hunger.

There are monkeys in India (macaques) that have no qualms about taking people's food.

@Izzie,
What beautiful butterly pictures. Your little dog is precious.

I am not sure if this is a real picture or not but I thought I'd post it because it's so cute.

I don't really like bugs but this little guy is really different.

Quote:
The Red Velvet Mite
You're in luck: The red velvet mite won't attack you, and they're tiny little things -- almost cute! As larvae, they attach themselves to a variety of arthropods and feed parasitically. They will suck blood from a gnat or grasshopper, for instance, sometimes hitching a ride with several other mites.

@Roberta,
For an animal with such anorexic/fashion model legs, he/she's kind of cute.

Thanks for the introduction to this hartebeest Roberta.
