@tsarstepan,
More likely they were each hogging their own views of the bay on alternate sides of the pier..

Here's a photo of our old gallery with a show of Willa Brigg's paintings of cows..
and a fellow who is near blind, with his beautiful dog. He was one of two near fully blind people that enjoyed seeing the art, visiting pretty much monthly.

I hope the people shown wouldn't mind my posting the photo, I mean no harm by it.

@ossobuco,
It still qualifies. People + 1 handsome dog = animals. Smile

@tsarstepan,
Here's one of Willa's cow paintings.. she paints in a free wheeling way that I admire a lot..

osso, I very much like the style of those paintings. Thanks for sharing. Whatever happened to your painting efforts? Have you stopped?

@Roberta,
I've stopped. I may start again. We'll see. I've been in a kind of five year revolt from life.

Francis, You old romantic, you. Lovely pictures. Merci.

Arella Mae, I don't see any prairie dogs. If you're referring to the picture I think you're referring to, those are meerkats. Cutie pies for sure.

Philis, I can't see what's in your picture. Phooey.

Roberta, I included turtle eggs as beautiful animals because the eggs themselves are beautiful and hold the potential for the turtle to have decades of a swimmingly happy life in the ocean.

The cute little turtle is starting on one of the most dangerous trips of its long {hopefully} life. It needs to scurry to the ocean before being eaten by birds or other animals.

This photo was good of the baby, so I posted it even though the little turtle is on a blanket. I'm hoping the the photographer is with an animal preservation organization.

@Roberta,
I just caught your comment about them not being prarie dogs. Meerkats are really strange little creatures, aren't they?

Diane, We've had a number of pictures of turtles, but never one being born/hatched. Love that pic. Thanks, kid.

Arella Mae, I think meerkats are fascinating and wonderful. I watched a show on Animal Planet called Meerkat Manor about a matriarch (Flower) and her clan. The interaction, communication, and sense of community was amazing. Love dem meerkats.
