@Roberta,
Ah, Roberta. Love hummingbirds.

We used to watch these birds on the beach try to out run the waves because of their fragile little legs

Gorgeous picture, Letty. Great colors and a nice boid.

tsar, I appreciate the dead boid apology, but I understand that a tiger would find them to be a very attractive element on a birthday cake.

@Letty,
Letty, Glad you like the ponies. The squirrel has beautiful fur. A major cutie. I wonder how it survives all dressed in white. Most albinos don't survive in the wild.

Reminds me of an albino parakeet I had--named Snow. She had pink eyes and all.

@Letty,
This albino squirrel? I bet she has a very expensive dry cleaning bill every month. And I bet she gets criticized for being/wearing white after labor day.

Baby polar bear sucking his thumb. Do bears have thumbs? Don't think so.

@tsarstepan,
Mr. tsar, Do not cast an aspersion on a gibbon. It was hard enough accepting their downgrade to lesser apes. Naturalists. Biologists. Scientists. What do they know?

There is (or was) a gibbon island in the Bronx Zoo. These animals are smart, agile, and athletic. They fly through the air from branch to branch. Amazing creatures--and from this planet. Just read that they can cover 9 meters in a single leap (however long that is).
