@ossobuco,
I don't know if he is or not Osso. Desert is also a range mustang. She and Apache were together in the wild. Apache is a real lap baby whereas Desert still has some of that "wild" in her.

Now from the Chronicle's Day in Pictures -
"Missed a spot: Nine-month-old clouded leopard Nah Fun is grooming his mate Chai Li at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Wash, when he suddenly discovers his own paw is not nearly as clean as it should be."

Too much Fun: Having bathed himself and his mate, serial licker Nah Fun looks for new things to wash with his tongue at Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma - staff biologist Andy Goldfarb's ears, for instance.

Arella Mae, I'm drooling all over the keyboard. Those horses are magnificent. Thank you and thank your friend for us.

osso, Glorious spotted felines. Reminds me of when I had cats. They all at one time or another decided I needed some licking. Smiling big time.

While we're in a leopard grooming phase, I thought I'd throw in the extremely rare and breathtakingly beautiful snow leopard giving itself a bath:

Buba, a bear cub born in January 2010, with her mother Ursina at the Juraparc of Mont-d'Orzieres near Vallorbe, Switzerland. The European brown bear has long been extinct in Britain and Ireland, but is still found in north-east Europe and Russia. There is a tiny population in the Pyrenees, on the border between Spain and France, which is on the edge of extinction, as well as an equally threatened group in the Cantabrian Mountains in Spain. There are also populations in the Abruzzi mountains and in the Trentino valley in Italy

Oh I want one of them baby bears! I think baby bears are the cutest little things. It' so hard to believe they can grow up into such big dangerous animals.

olga, Buba is a major cutie.

tsar, Dem coral can't get a break. Wonderful (and very large) bunny. Gorgeous boid pic. Thanks mucho.

So I googled "rare antelopes" and came up with this. Unfortunately, it doesn't say what it is. I've never seen it before. Maybe Francis will happen along and fill us in. Hey, Francis. What the hell is this?

Never have I seen a creature such as that. I surely have no clue as to what it is but am interested to find out.

Francis will know. He knows everything--and in two languages. We just have to hope he shows up.

@Roberta,
I was thinking that was some kind of deer and was trying to find out what it was but maybe it is some kind of goat? Strange looking animal whatever it is.

I did find this picture of a cougar while I was looking. Hard to believe something with such beautiful eyes can be so dangerous.

That's a female "white Kudu", an albinos of the Kudu species that live mainly in South Africa.

They have a specific gene that shows any x generations.

"Usual Kudu" :
