@tsarstepan,
tsarstepan, Not sure what you mean about Ike saying he could be in the water. Falcons aren't water fowl. Am I missing something? Definitely in agreement with you about his expecting to be admired. Even without a mirror, he's got to know how fine he is.

These are such characters - their mimicry (how do you spell that?) is timed to perfection - enough to make my-cry with laughter - they're fab!

Izzie, Your brain is not twaddled (whatever that means). You have not posted these pics before. I'd remember. Love them. I'm a parrot family fan from way back. Thanks.

@edgarblythe,
Grays are wonderful, Edgar.

These birds are very smart. I mean VERY smart. I've seen some research with grays. Amazing intelligence. And they live a long time.

Wow!

I'd have named it a Leaf Bodied Gecko from the looks of it.

Is it from Down Under?

Another, a red panda cutsie-fying in the SFChron's Day in Pictures:

When eating bamboo at the zoo, only thin, tender sprouts will do. (Red panda, Oklahoma City Zoo.)

Same zoo, same photographer, different cutie -

You've heard of milk mustaches, of course. Behold the icing goatee. (Zoe's first birthday, Oklahoma City Zoo.)

Even unique squirrels must hoard nuts for the winter in Cincinnati's Eden Park.
