That's true, that photo of whosis and the kaola gets better and better for me, a particularly good photo. The Sartorialist should plotz.

Indi, a three-year-old black and white colobus monkey kisses his newly arrived sibling, who was born at the Melbourne zoo five days ago. Black and white colobus are native to Angola, Zaire, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, and Kenya, and are vegetarians. Hunters seeking their spectacular pelts have contributed to the monkey's current endangered status, and as with all rainforest species habitat, loss is also a major factor Photograph: William West/AFP/Getty Images

olga, To quote a famous American ball player, "I'm having deja vu all over again." Osso posted the same pic a few days ago. Not to worry. It's sufficiently wonderful, sweet, and beautiful to be looked at again.
Francis, Tres magnifique. I don't know which I love more. I had parakeets. The second pic reminds me of them. The first, well, caught in an intimate moment. Gorgeous photo.
osso, Parakeets make wonderful pets. They take some patience in the early stages of training, but once they're accustomed to you, they are delightful. Billie was my absolute favorite and in some ways my best friend. She had dinner with the family every night. We'd always give her a little something. I remember putting a strand of spaghetti on the table and watching her work her way down. If she was thirsty or wanted a bath, she would fly over to the kitchen sink, sit on the faucet, and choip. She loved Elvis Presley's song "Don't Be Cruel." She tormented and thoroughly dominated our dog. I could go on. I LOVED that boid!!!!
So IKE is in moult mode still " he’s taking his time
He’s stunning " you can clearly see the difference in his feathers as he’s becoming a big boy " he has quite a few to go, the tatty ones are coming out and his new ones are quite beautiful " he’s very handsome
I love how he ruffles up
He’s been flapping a lot, getting his muscles stronger, needs to lose some weight before he can start flying...
he has a little way to go - then he'll be a strong boid and flying high.

@Roberta,
Now he's of majestic stature!
I can imagine him thinking ... "I could be in the water right now but duty of my station forces me to let other people admire me so much!"
