it made little short flights between the branches while i was trying to get a shot of it's fuzzy splotchy red breast, the only reason i noticed him, was because i kept seeing the robin fly up to the branch for a few seconds and then back down
I guess you have to start somewhere, flightwise. I've been watching falcons on a high perch on top of a building in Pennsylvania. Not much room for error there. It's a long way down. That first flight had better be a good one. The fledglings have been flappying like crazy.

dj, Thanks for reposting those pix. That is one terrific-looking dog. Bluejay's cracking open a peanut? Do you have peanuts growing in your neck of the woods? Bluejays are wonderfully blue. Also like their pointy heads.
