Long legs, a graceful neck & big ravishing Maybelline eyes, and on a newborn, no less.

A pleasure, Roberta.

I've been quite smitten since watching an ABC program last Sunday night - about the re-introduction of two female red pandas (Mini & Sweety Smile ) back into Singalila National Park. Would they survive in the wild after being reared in captivity? (Red Pandas are an endangered species.) They are the most beautiful creatures - solitary, gentle-natured herbivores, constantly chomping on bamboo - & about the size of a cat. I think they've replaced otters as my very favourite critters. @Debacle,
Ah, I never saw that. I mix it up with Taro and Jiro in Antarctica.., which I did see.

Anyway, quite a video.

dj, The mourning doves are beauties. I love their soft warm coloring.

msolga, I know a bit about red pandas (also called lesser pandas). There's one in the Central Park Zoo. I've stared at it on many occasions.

debacle, Smiling big time. What a pair. Thanks for that.

European red squirrel (I like the ears on this guy):

I saw a couple of beautiful bird species today at the cemetery. I took some pix for the thread - though they didn't come out so great.... (no coyotes today)

littlek, Thrilled that you thought to take pics for this thread while you were are the cemetary. I like them all, but especially the cardinal in the tree.

@littlek,
The best I can find, littlek, is that they're catlike but members of the civet family.

Mooches grassy ass, dj. I love that.

Here's a picture of Stump, a sussex spaniel and the winner at Westminster this year.

@Roberta,
Hey there gal...!

Djjd - those foxes are amazing - wouldn't you love to be able to see that in your back yard - quite incredible to be able to shoot that video - man, would love to see something like that in real time... We had foxes a plenty at the old house - but we could never get close to them.

Boida.... a woody boid in the snow - just one shot through the windows - got a pile of pics to come when I get home and am sitting around for a while. Not able to focus too much right now - but will be up and running soon.
