BTW, I'm guessing that the bird you like so much is some kind of vulture--no head feathers. The second bird in question is a toucan.

Izzie, this bothers me - I can't tell where these photos are from. Since you are an excellent photographer, I figured for a while that you did them, as the link that shows when you click on the photo is yours.

In the meantime, some of these are prize photos and there is no way to figure out who did the photos.

I'm very interested in photography and would like to know, if only by clicking on the photo, who the photographer is. The photographers might not be so charmed. Trust me, if, once I get my photos up, they are splotzed on the net without attribution, I'd be pissed.

Or, have you done all these last many photos?

Not meaning to be a bitch, but really, some people take good photos very seriously. In my opinion, the photographer should be at least accessible re a click.

It's not that hard to give attribution.

I respect copyrighted material and have never knowingly taken photos that are copyrighted or clearly owned by someone. Most of the photos I find are random. I have no idea who took them. The info is not available, and I'm not about to stop posting pics because I don't know the name of the photographer. (It is that hard to give attribution.)

I respect your respect for the photographer, osso. Just letting you know how I operate. The vagaries of the Internet.

I'm sorry this has bothered you - had no idea I was doing anything wrong here - any photos I've taken I usually say they are mine from the garden or wherever. I have never attributed any other photos to me and would not do so.... the photos do NOT say they are mine, they say they have been uploaded onto photobucket …

which says LzzieIzzie as the account name on photobucket ..... some of the photos even have “awwpix” or something splashed across them. As neither Lzzie or Izzie is my real name, as you know, I don’t see how I can be saying they are mine.

I have gone thru a lot of peoples photos on A2K since reading this thismorning, including Roberts and people who obviously know what they are doing as far as copyright..... some of his show the website address on them if there is a direct link..... and some are uploaded to flickr......

A majority of photos on the net do not the name of the photographer associated with them. I would not even know how to find the names of the photographer I just go onto random sites and post pics - and have never claimed they were mine...

anyway - the site I was on yesterday was http://www.awwpix.com/ - even on the site there is no photographers name. People just wanna share their photos. The little fella and I were looking at them " I thought they were cute and would put a smile on peoples faces.
