Now that's a charming topiary. I've gone back and forth on topiary in my days as a plant-interested person. Well, back and forth and back and forth and back..

but never mind, I like that one, the elephant in the garden room. Will try to check out the garden designer and report if I can find it.

Best I can tell it's from a political blog, which leaves me no smarter. Well, kudos to the garden clipper person and the photographer, wherever they may be.

osso, Enter animal topiaries on google. You'll get a bunch of stuff. The elephant is from a garden in Rhode Island.

Uh, I don't see Rhode Island mentioned in the first two pages and I don't want to click on to 81,000 topiary links, some of them tabletop... Can you give me a title?

I entered "animal topiary photos" and got three pics of topiaries. Middle one is the place. Or try this:

Magnificent photo, Tigershark. Look at the detail. Stunning. Also I love this bird. Never met one, but I like it's face.

And speaking of nice photos, I like how the light hits the tigershark in this pic:

Nice tiger theme, Roberta. The big cat is a beaut.

Waxeyes are nice, almost friendly, little birds. Smaller than sparrows and they get quite close up to people. I have a couple that flit around the ledge and the trees outside my office window.

Tigershark, Your comment got me to remembering my office window--way back when I worked in an office. No boids (29th floor, slightly more than halfway up the building). I looked out my window one day and saw a giant inflated gorilla at the top of the Empire State Building (my view). It was the anniversary of "King Kong." That's as close to wildlife as I got in that office.

New York is a cool place, even if it is low on wildlife. I was there in 1990.
