edgar, I tried to fine out what these are. They could be schipperkes or black German shepherds. Or something else.

I'm going to say Groenendaels aka Belgian Shepherds - because I've wanted one ever since we came across three in Riquewhir while hiking in Alsace. The most amazingly 'present' dogs. Sadly their coats would be nightmare in the tropics.

Definitely a Belgian shepherd. Another breed I was unfamiliar with. A doozy looking dog.
