Oh, that helps - probably a Bhotia (aka Himalayan Sheepdog) - possibly Tibetan Mastiffs - but they don't seem to come all black.

I have Black Orpingtons .They are black feathered with a blue iridescence .The combs on mine are a more purplish than red. Maybe they hve some blood of thi Ayam chiickey. I only hve 4 because they are so fuckin vain, they parade around showing off.

Not sure if they're related. Apparently the Ayams are a newish breed. The fact that their internal organs, flesh and bone are black was a surprise to me. I won't share the images in case of sensibilities. Not sure if your Orpingtons are eggs, meat or show.
