Saurian Boredom ?

If the sauropods had been as intelligent as humans,
wud thay have fallen into a state of boredom
( other than when predators were annoying them )
bearing in mind that a low rate of literacy prevailed among them,
and many of them lacked opposable thumbs ?

Have you had some kind of playfulness epiphany, OmSig?

Shocked

Sauropods would likely have found non-opposeable thumb activities to amuse themselves with....like basking and darting relays....and would likely have invented writing based on the tracks they left in clay banks.

Actually david, it was boredom that killed them. Lacking oposing thumbs there was only so much to do with their time, and since they were the biggest creatures around no one could eat them.

Fact is, by the time the meteor struck they were all dead already, out of boredom. Smile

They were as intelligent as human and they came up with prehistoric nuclear devices. Thus, they killed themselves off. What kind of silly question is this?

Yeah, I was AFRAID of that, Cyra;
I just didn 't have the guts to come out with it.

Well, T Rex was not very good at self pleasuring due to his comparatively tiny forearms, that's as good a reason as any to call it quits!

That sad fact about T Rex and numerous other bipedal saureans haunts me.

LOL Very Happy

Actually, the T-rex didn't even like meat. He was just so angry at all the other picking on him because of his short arms that he ate them. He couldn't exactly punch them.
