Classic Apollo Rainsoft Watersoftener System

We bought a house that has a Classic Apollo Rainsoft Watersoftener System. We would like to use the system if it still works. What do we need to do & what supplies is needed to find out if it works? We have no instructions or operation manual for the system. Thanks to whomever can help out!!!

Hey Corene,

I'm sure it can be made to work. Is it a mechanical or computerized controller?
Can you post a picture of the valve?
Do you have a local independent dealer in your area?
