I'm sure I will. I have to admit to a bit of nervousness to be traveling alone, especially with my Duetsch sprecken (oy!) I'm sure all will be smooth sailing, though.

How exciting, swimpy! I am looking forward to pictures and stories. Have a wonderful time in Germany.

Unfortunately, we are way down in the south of Germany... A lot closer to Austria, in fact, than to Hamburg. So where is that soon-to-be daughter-in-law from?

I don't know if anyone is paying attention to this thread or not. The tour has been going very well for the lads. I leave Tuesday to catch up with them in Hamburg. I am sorry that I won't be able to meet Walter or urs while I'm there. Schedules have conspired and, as Walter says: Scheiße geschieht.

I will post pictures when I return on Feb. 25.

I didn't really say "Scheiße geschieht" - Swimpy's just showing how good she is with her advanced German lecturers

Good looking kid, Swimp. er Gus, you just got squinney and swimpy mixed up. I used to do that all the time.

I did the Swimpy/Squinney mix-up earlier on, too.

Strange thing to do, because I'm perfectly clear about who squinney is & who Swimpy is!
..... but there I was, crediting Bear with fathering Swimpy's son! Embarrassed

There was no mistake made on my part. Bear is the father of that child on the drums and Swimpy the mother. Two ships passed in the night.

Mr. Swimpy, while initially upset, eventually forgave Swimpy and was quite thrilled with the prospect of having a Rocker's child racing around the house, playing air guitar and ogling women.

We saw the place where swimpy's son will play in Münster today (= I only noticed it since waiting at the red traffic lights), but no announcements outside. Sad

Well I hope there are some up around town. Come on you Germans! Let's get on the stick!

A snow storm is bearing down on us tonight. I'm afraid there are going to be travel delays tomorrow. Serenity now. Serenity NOW!
