I have a Rainsoft WSQ 75 softener, and it seems like the unit isn't softening like it used to. We had a power failure, and I think the settings were reset. I once had a similar problem, and the service guy showed me how to access the service menu. There are two items in the menu, one called System and another called Water Hardness. Both are in units of grains.
Assuming I have a local hardness of 30 grains, what setting should I be using for these two values? How does changing either of these effect the hardness at the tap?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Ah! Another desperate newbie with water treatment problems! Amazing how many there are. But look --- up in the sky ---it's a bird --- it's a plane ---no, it's ---

Hey CHUCKEN, it sounds like you have a computerized Gold Series control valve.
Email me with your mailing address so that I can send you a copy of the set up manual.
Does Chucken have your email address, H2O_MAN?
