If I saw someone I knew with a green Toyota Toyopet, I'd ask them if they turned their chiapet into something driveable.

"Mustang" and "Impala" are good names; I'm surprised they didn't make the list.

The Mitsubishi Pistachio sounds good to me - LOL.

I like cars that sound like they were named after gladiators. When I heard of the Dodge Nitro for the first time, I immediately thought of the Nitro guy from American Gladiators. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

When I was a teenager, my girlfriend and I thought it would be a good idea to have a car the seated 2 people, one in front, one in back.

When you entered a highway it would hook to a running chain on the road, and you could turn off your car and go for the ride.
You'd release the hook when you got to your exit.

We were going to call it the Platypus.

Car Names
Since you didn't specify, I'll include foreign and old car names.

WARTBURG - German 1930's, 1940's

HORCH - Germany 1930's

MAACO - German ?

DYNA PANHARD - France - two cylinder opposed, aluminum body,
speed 90 mph

SKODA - Czechoslovakian, used roll of toilet paper for oil filter.

HISPANA SUIZA - BOAT TAIL

DKW - Front wheel drive, two cycle, three cylinder, three sets of points,
three coils, no water pump, no oil pump,

NOVA - Story has it, GM was set to market the "NOVA" throughout Latin
America. It so happens that "NOVA" in Spanish means "DOESN'T GO!"
