I only saw half of my children this season, but they appear to be alive and well, and for that I am grateful.

Got a Chris Boti jazz CD for Christmas. Holiday songs like youd like to hear them.
None of that Burl Ives crap.

Well, it's time to stand down the holly jolly banner. It was fun. Y'all tune in next year, and every year after that, ya hear?

I've no humor about this. I see this as a kind of profligration about hollyjollybodyshit, and am not amused no matter how many times it is posted aggressively in a jolly way.

I suppose I should just let it all die away.

This is why they invented scrolling. If a thread offends, it doesn't have to be read.

I am back from family Christmas and looking forward to me-and-husband Christmas in two days, so I'm still trying to stay hollyjolly. I may just have to paste my previous rendition of the song in here once more...especially for osso. <wicked cackle> Twisted Evil

It's been so long, I'm pretty much the closest thing you can get to a nun, though.

Now, that's scary! Shocked

At my age, I can sympathize. Some of life's pleasures must be delayed more often anymore.

Mercifully it's less than 3 months to go now until the beginning of the new awaiting of Winter which will bring a return to our favorite tune.

Oh heck I can't resist...

Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
It's the best time of the year
I don't know if there'll be snow,
But have a cup of cheer.
Have a holly, jolly Christmas;
And when you walk down the street
Say Hello to friends you know
And everyone you meet.

Oh, ho, the mistletoe
Hung where you can see;
Somebody waits for you;
Kiss her once for me.
Have a holly jolly Christmas,
And in case you didn't hear,
Oh by golly, have a holly,
Jolly Christmas this year.

Can we all please stop singing this song now?

The last thing I want to do, is arrive at that New Year's party tonight, and start 2007 with Holly Jolly Christmas stuck in my brain.

Thank you, oh and.......... Happy 2007 everyone.

Bugger, I've been sitting here for the past 5 weeks, waiting for that last post to go through on A2K. Bleedin' little wheels been spinnin' at the top of the page, but would it enter my post? Would it buggery!
OUTRAGEOUS!
Can I now go to the toilet, please? I have a rather large egg nog that's been trying to escape for the past month or so.

You chose to take swigs of the nog, now you must pay the consequences. Your restroom privileges have been revoked for an indefinite period of time.

Additionally your atonement measures will include singing another round of Holly Jolly Christmas...

It's that time of the year when pent-up emotion must find its release, when ecstatic joy blossoms into song.
